ClubHouse Hotel & Suites

We have been driving across the country to drive my dad's service dog back to our home. So we have stayed in many places along the way. This place is ranked a 3.5 star hotel, but I have to say, this is by far the best hotel we stayed in. I will say the TV didn't work, pixelated and freezing, but the man working came up and tried to help, but it is unclear what was going on. I would highly recommend staying here and stopping in at the Wild Sage for dinner. The bathroom was big and they had Dove products, which smelled really nice. I would most definitely stay in a ClubHouse Hotel anywhere they are.

The staff was amazing! Sara and Carlos and Lawrence and Kevin really went above and beyond for us during our stay. We stayed Oct 15th to the 18th. Sara picked us up from the airport in the courtesy caddie Escalade and then Kevin and Lawrence ran us to the store and restaurant and downtown rapid City and Sara dropped us off at Bear country. The breakfast every morning was top notch just like the staff. Also enjoyed the managers reception from 430-6 with free drinks and snacks. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Loved it here. Me and my wife are on our honeymoon and needed somewhere to stop and stay. After staying at a ran down days inn, we just wanted a nice place. This place fit the bill, but they were all out of standard rooms online. So I called. Carlos answered and said not to worry he had something special for us at the same price. We got there and yup this is a fancy hotel. The lobby was beautiful, the place smelled clean, the staff was friendly. The decor was very classy. Carlos was super super welcoming and was joking with us a bit. He gave us a room with 2 queen beds, a freaking sectional couch, and a private balcony where we could watch the sunset. I cannot recommend this place enough. Edit: After getting home, I realized that carlos indeed charged us more than he said over the phone. I wasn't very happy to see that (i didnt get a receipt) I would have gladly paid the $230.XX, but he did say it was going to be $195+ tax. To me, that was the only downside to this place. Other than that, definitely a very nice and unique hotel. Just make sure to check your reciept

Love this hotel!!! We purchased a hotel room for our brother’s wedding as a gift for them and the room was stunning!! It had a beautiful balcony and was very clean! The staff was friendly and so helpful!!

My husband and I had a great day at The Clubhouse! First, we came for an event and got to Rapid City early, but Terri was so kind when I called to ask for an early check-in, which she could accommodate! Then, when checking in, we meet her face to face, and what a freaking delight! She and the guy at the other desk had us rolling; we had such a great laugh. They were so fun and engaging. Terri is also the artist of the gorgeous artwork behind the reception! A talent in so many ways. Our room was spotless! Not a single weird random hair on and off the linens (thank God), and the bathroom was great! I wish the bathroom had a better seal, but the fan was fine! The real show stopper was the sheets! They were so freaking soft and buttery! Top notch, I even tried to find out where I could buy my own. The ice machine actually accommodated my water bottle, and they have a water bottle refill station too, which I love. I saw several dogs, and the floor in our room was a hard surface, so it is pet-friendly, but doesn't stink! Overall, the facility is so pretty, so clean, and everyone is so lovely! I highly recommend The Clubhouse!

This new hotel is beautiful inside and out! The view is stunning, the staff was so friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was delicious. The rooms were also very spacious and clean! The sheets on the bed were sooo soft. The only things that left some to be desired were little details like the water pressure not being super high and the water not getting hot consistently. The water would be warm, so we didn’t have cold showers or anything, just a little dissatisfying. The tissues were like paper, and the bar soap just didn’t get real sudsy. The beds were ok- kind of felt like high quality spring beds, but not the worst. Overall, I would stay here again as the pros certainly outweigh the cons, and I think as they get more feedback, they will improve in a lot of little things. They also offer a generous military discount and are right next door to an amazing restaurant!

Stayed here with wife, daughter, son-in-law, and grandkids. Had a wonderful time staying here. Rooms were very clean, service was top notch, breakfast buffet was great, and amenities were very good. Location was very convenient to downtown Rapid City for evening dinners. The location was even better for going out and touring the Black Hills. Most of the key spots we wanted to go to were just a half-hour or so away. I highly recommend staying here. Oh, yeah, I forgot to mention the manager’s evening happy hour from 4:30 to 6:00 pm. Two free drinks with popcorn and chips. Nice little respite to come home after a day out on the trails.

At arrival we were greeted by, Sarah, a friendly helpful face. Our room was clean, the beds were so comfortable I didn't want to leave! The clean workout room has a nice variety of machines and free weights. Pool area was pleasant. There were plenty of seating areas outside, inside and upstairs on the second floor. They provided complimentary tea and water 24 hrs a day, fresh breakfast and a managers reception with drinks and snacks. I hope you enjoy your stay as much as we did.

This is a new 2025 hotel. We loved the hotel, it must have been designed by a woman, because everything we needed was available. I appreciated the little things that made it special - the bed was very comfortable, varied types of pillows on the bed, dimmable lights, sitting area with table in two areas, the make-up remover and black towel, make-up mirror, two types of flavored water and coffee in the lobby, the coffee pot/fridge and microwave in the room. The nearby restaurant was a big plus. The breakfast was good with a lot of selections. Staff were very accommodating. The dog friendly environment was the best we have seen at any hotel, we really liked the outdoor access for the dogs, and the nearby grass. Normally, when we are with the dogs, we have to sacrifice what kind of hotel we want to stay in, because the nicer ones don't accommodate the dogs. We felt that this hotel was the only one that we have been in that we loved, and so did the dogs! Yes, we definitely would recommend staying at this hotel. We wish there were more hotels like this.

This location is only a few months old and was extremely clean and well kept. The breakfast was outstanding with many options you don't normally see with a hotel breakfast. The restaurant next door was also excellent for dinner.
